Conventionally, most materials for
coping have been made of wood. Thereafter, materials have changed
one after another, including stone, concrete, iron, aluminum,
and stainless steel.
These days, coping made of aluminum is predominant, exerting
its characteristics fully through long development.
During this time, architectural styles have also continued to
develop while changing vertiginously.
Guard-coping is a new type of coping developed by concentrating
our advanced technologies to meet customer needs associated
with such diversification of buildings. |

Five colors (silver, bronze, stain,
brown, and black) with well fitting designs in stock as a standard.
The surface treatment of R-bent coping is the same as the straight-line
type. The standard delivery time is about three weeks. |

Guard-coping Type C is equipped
with undercovering against wind and rain as a standard to further
improve windbreak and rainproof performance. Guard-coping Type
U is equipped with underribbing (2(7.5) in the central area
of the coping body to improve strength (vertical and horizontal).
Also, the underribbing and brackets are three-point-locked in
combination to eliminate scattering in wind.
For all types, steel (2.3t) reinforced brackets (PAT.) are adopted.
Even a strong wind will not stir up the coping to deform the
brackets.
There are 18 types of Guard-coping Type C from 135 to 600mm
in width, and there are 5 types of Guard-coping Type U from
250 to 400mm in width. These comply with common specifications
by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. |

coping mounting hardware |
|
| Conventional
mounting method |
The mounting method by
which level adjustments are made by using wedges, etc., can
cause their looseness and dropouts later due to pulsating wind
pressure. The reality is that not only are there problems with
safety and reliability but also considerable time is wasted
in construction.
|

| New mounting method |
By
our new original level adjustment mechanism, fixing is firm
in any situation, such as inclined, uneven, or distorted framework.
There is no need to worry about looseness from wind pressure.
Also, the construction time is shortened significantly.
